Recognizing that the right and privilege of persons to church membership rest upon the fact of their being regenerate, we would require only such avowals of belief as are essential to Christian experience. We, therefore, deem belief in the following brief statements to be sufficient. We believe:

In one God--the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

That the Old and New Testament Scriptures are inspired by God, are inerrant in the autographs, and are the sole authority for matters of faith and the Christian life. What- ever is not taught therein, nor may be proved thereby, should not be required to be believed by any Christian as necessary for salvation.

That all are born in with a fallen nature, and inclined to evil.

That the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

That the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ in justified, regenerated, sanctified, and saved from the dominion of sin.

That the very God of peace sanctifies wholly, so that the whole spirit, and soul, and body, may preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The spirit is fully renewed in the image of God, purified of the stain of inherited depravity, and perfected in love.

That the Holy Spirit bears witness to sonship, and every stage of grace in the life of the penitent believer.

That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgement will take place.
